Calm and center yourself in a spiritual landscape known for its thermal waters and pure air.
Here in the mid Pyrenees, renown for its curative thermal waters and ancient monasteries built on sacred ground, you will find the tranquility and serenity you seek. Far away from the demands of modern life, here you will breathe in the purest mountain air and reconnect with your deepest self.
Daily worries vanish in the herb-scented wind, disperse under billowy white clouds above the peaks of the Canigou mountains.
While yang yoga is more active, yin yoga is quiet, meditative. Originally the discipline of monks, yin yoga modifies the long holds of classical Hatha Yoga, allowing for an easy settling into poses, from three minutes or more. This settling into a position while calming your breath stretches your deep tissues-- tendons, fascia, and ligments. Thus while stretching your body you find stillness and focus.
