Dutch born Lianne Chedal found her calling 10 years ago under duress. She was working overtime as the vice principal of a private high school in the Netherlands and, as she put it, "I could not find the switch to turn-off. I lost the connection with myself."
Leaving her job and graduating from the prestigious Dutch Academy of Yoga in Amsterdam, Lianne credits the practice of yin yoga as changing her life. "Even after one session you will connect with your body-- from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, and, very importantly, you will learn to listen to your body. This will help you keep calm and centered, even if you are in the midst of stress. "
A warm and cheerful personality, Lianne and her French husband Christophe live in the mountainous countryside near Fuilla where she is the village's yoga instructor and also conducts classes with tourists.
